Anybody else having problems loading their iCloud music library and playlists in the Music app? Everything else works fine(Radio, Connect, For You, New). It works fine in iTunes just not on my iPhone or iPad.

I've tried resetting and erasing my phone and restoring from backup.

Is there a server problem right now?

Thanks!

BUMP

Not sure what happened...but it finally started working...after many restarts.

I'm having server issues since yesterday now. I've added several albums to my music and rearranged several playlists on iTunes running 12.3.0.44 (i.e. latest version) and none of the changes are syncing to my iPhone. I've tried signing out on iTunes and signing back in, forcing update under the File/Library tab and rebooting the phone and the updates aren't showing up. It is beyond frustrating at the moment as I've had a stable experience so far with iOS 9.

I'm sticking with the service, but I harken for the days of Spotify when a change on the Mac version would automatically update your iPhone app. Apple needs to get their servers up to par! ARRRGGG!!!!

I'm having the same issue. No music on my phone since this morning. I'm hoping this doesn't carry over to the 6s launch tomorrow.

Yes, same issue. Enabled icloud music library and nothing is being pushed since yesterday... biggest piece of sh... apple has ever made. So frustrating... i disabled icloud music library and tried just copying over my own songs to my iPhone over usb... nope, won't sync.. just sit there in my iphone music folder waiting to be sync'd. So at this point i have a $1200 piece of glass and metal that makes calls with internet access. FFFFF man

Same problem here. I have iCloud music library on and no music is showing up. Plug in the phone to iTunes and it says that it can't sync music across due to iCloud music library.

No music I add from For You or anywhere else in the Apple Music app on the iPhone shows up in My Music. Such bad service.

Same here, but it only seems to be affecting my iPhone. My iPad works fine with iCloud music today.

Restored my new iPhone 6s Plus from backup of 5s and can not see any music keeps looking like it is loading the library then it just says add some music. clicking on add to library or make available offline does nothing.

You may need to set up as new.

I am having the same problem restoring from a iCloud backup of an iPhone 6 Plus to a iPhone 6S Plus. My music library shows loading but nothing happens. I have tried rebooting and disabling iCloud Music Library but it does absolutely nothing.

I think I may have found the issue....and it looks like it is a bug in iOS 9.0.1. I couldn't load my iCloud Music Library all afternoon, decided to load the beta profile for iOS 9.1, and as soon as it loaded, the iCloud Music Library loaded right up.

Interesting... I had the 9.1 beta but did a recovery upgrade over it to downgrade back to 9.01 on my 6+ In preparation for the 6S+. I wonder if the recovery upgrade messed something up...

I did this too. Do we wait out 9.1?
I ended up downloading the beta profile and installing IOS 9.1. iCloud Music Library loaded fine and all my music shows up. I wanted to get off the betas though... One thing I noticed is that if you go to top charts the artists are missing and it just shows a dash. I am debating about just starting fresh on IOS 9.01.

Did you previously use iOS 9.1? I'm wondering if this isn't a bug with 9.0.1, but with iCloud itself, i.e. once your iCloud music library starts using 9.1, it cannot be downgraded/synced. Anyways, I'm obviously having the same problem and was running iOS 9.1 on my 5s before downgrading to 9 and restoring my 6s from a backup. The caveat, though, is that the 5s can still access my music on 9.0.1.

In support of this theory, I was running the iOS 9 beta on my iPad over the summer. When my 5s was upgraded to 8.4.1, I started having all sorts of iCloud related problems (the phone would lock up during various functions related to iCloud and the music app wouldn't work at all). It went so far as to have apple replace the phone because we thought it was a hardware problem. That didn't solve the issue - ultimately, the only thing that did was loading the iOS 9 beta onto the 5s.

My iPad Air 2 had the same problem when I downgraded from iOS 9.1 to 9.01. iCloud Music Library wouldn't sync anymore and it would just show loading library. I ended up downloading the beta profile again and upgraded to 9.1, which fixed everything. Do you think if you setup the device as new on 9.01 it will fix this issue, or do you think we should just wait until 9.1 GM arrives and then delete the beta profile?

Interesting, thanks. My inclination would be to go with the latter, mostly because 9.1 seems really stable and I really don't want to setup my device as new.

And yikes, if past experience hasn't taught me not to use betas, I think this year has.

I've been having the same constant "loading library" BS as well.

A few things I've noticed or experiencing.

If I have my library manually synced to my phone (which has been synced since the release of Apple Music) I get the constant "loading library" ever since 9.0 release (perhaps it may have started after 9.1 beta.) Can't add new stuff from Apple Music to my library (from the phone), can't see my full iCloud library on the phone. It's totally cut off. The "loading library" progress bar gets to about 10% and it stops. (Every single time music is launched. And no matter how many times I turn off and on the iCloud library or choose merge or replace.)

If I erase the phone and restore. iCloud music library shows up finally when I have no music to "merge". (Both 9.0.1 and 9.1) However. Syncing is still jacked up. I can add stuff from the phone and see it instantly on my Mac. But anything I add from the Mac or changing album art or editing any artist/album/track names, do not sync back to the phone. (Even stranger is I can manage to get 2-3 things at a time to sync back to the phone, but ONLY if I add something from Apple Music to my library from the phone.)

So any addition will work from the phone but phone won't see additions made elsewhere.

Such a messed up service and worked pretty good (never had any syncing issues till now.) Just in time for the free trial to end too. -_-

I had downgraded from OS 9.1 beta to OS 9.0 and the upgraded to 9.01 on both my ipad and iphone. I had the same problem. Icloud music library would not load my matched tracks or playlists, and I couldn't download purchased songs from the Itunes Store IOS app. My ipod touch, which was never on beta software worked fine running os 9.01. I had to reinstall the Ios 9.1 beta on my iphone and ipad in order to make icloud music library work and allow me to download purchased content

Yep. I installed the 9.1 beta this morning and my iCloud music library instantly showed up. I guess I will wait until 9.1 officially comes out to get off the beta.

Have you figured out a solution for the missing artist in top charts? It has been missing in the New tab and almost everywhere else for me and its driving me crazy.

I have not... Hopefully the final beta will fix it, but I am not holding my breath.

Neither am I. I have reported it in every 9.1 beta so far. What device are you on? I'm on a 6s. The details are also missing from peek and pop I've noticed.

I am on a 6S+. I have noticed the peek and pop issue too. I don't plan on using the betas next year, because it always seems to mess something up.
