Recently, my favorite Twitter client, Nambu, announced its discontinuation of development. I've now switched to the official Twitter for Mac, and I really like the interface. However, I find it frustrating that, after a long day's work, I come home only to find the last 200 tweets showing. As an avid follower of many news sources, I probably receive around 400 tweets per day, so in effect, I'm missing almost half of my tweets for the day, on average.

How come the Twitter for Mac app doesn't have a feature like the broken timeline layout for the iPhone/iPad Twitter app? Or am I missing something?

Thanks so much.

I totally agree. What annoys me, as well, is that Nambu was the only client which had auto-hide!
