Hi guys. I've been trying to load some textbooks (no, it's not the iBooks textbook) that's in PDF, about 15MB, and it takes AGES to load the page (or every other page) in iBooks and PDF Expert. Why is it like this? Has it always been slow for some reason? Perhaps, PDF is just slow?
Any solutions, such as getting other apps?

Thanks in advance.

I just tried out Good Reader, and while it is a pretty good app for my needs, flipping through pages is still slow :(
Meh, do I really have to live with this?

Has to be something other than iBooks. I'm guessing it's your file. I have a 950MB Catalog in iBooks that loads plenty fast on either the iPad(1st Gen) or iPad2.

Try GoodReader. I have PDF's of programming books as large as 150mb that load with no issue at all. It's a paid app, but it works wonderfully as a file system and opener.
