My iPhone 11 Pro is running iOS 16.1 Beta. My computer is running the latest Ventura beta. I have iCloud Photo Library enabled on the iPhone, and it only keeps an "optimized" copy on the phone itself.
Even so, photos account for 300GB on my iPhone. Is it possible to make a local backup without backing up the photos (since they're already on iCloud)? It's too slow, and also my computer doesn't have 300GB of free space.
It's strange because for another iPhone I have (iPhone 14 Pro also running iOS 16.1 Beta), it made a local backup without the photos. I had assumed this was a new feature in iOS 16, but I can't get this iPhone 11 Pro to behave similarly
