I just went to a local Best Buy (Roseville) to pick up a Lightning adapter.

The crowd looked normal. I asked the associate in the cell phone area how their iPhone 6 stock was going. He said: Really good. We haven't had to turn away a customer disappointed yet.

This BB store had a 6+ gold working phone out on display as a demo and a working black 6 out as a demo.

I was absolutely shocked.

I think the biggest surprise was not hearing anyone raise their voice even the slightest bit. Launch days are usually a mad house there. Back when the 4S launched and they did not even have stock to cover their pre-orders, I thought people were going to get outright violent.

I doubt they got many 6 Plus ...

Walked in and out of Best Buy in 30 minutes with a 128GB iPhone 6 around noon. The Apple Store 2 blocks down had a line that was at least 200 deep (Lincoln Park, Chicago.) BB only had iPhone 6's though, no 6 plus.
