Local links (Mail messages to 3rd party apps)

I just started using Wunderlist for my to do list. It has the ability to save notes etc but any "local link" aka a drag and drop for Mac Mail or Sparrow does not get saved as a hyperlink. Works fine in other programs (Things, OmniFocus).

The link looks like this: sparrow:///message/20cf3079b6441629e804a989b3b7@google.com)

The notes section seems to only be able to make things hyperlinks that are HTTP:// etc

Reaching out to to community to see if there is perhaps a work around.
