Any idea of whether iOS 9 will require iTunes 12 for local sync? Or will iOS 9 still work with iTunes 11?
Still sporting an iMac with Snow Leopard, and iTunes 11 is the last compatible version. Upgrading to iTunes 12 would require that I also upgrade to OS X Lion, which I would rather avoid. I use iCloud backups, but only do those backups once a week. My daily sync routine uses a local sync to iTunes, and I also sync my contacts locally.
I also have the option of backing up my phone to a Windows 7 laptop. But, I much prefer having everything sync'd with my Mac, despite it being an older machine.
