Hey y'all, wondering if there's an app out there that will somehow let WeatherIcon display your local weather (i.e. weather at your current location), instead of just the first city's weather in Weather.app. I travel a lot, and when I'm in LA or wherever, I don't care what the weather is at home. (Unless it's a tornado at my house...)
Does this even exist?

Look in your settings for Weathericon. There is an override feature. You're good to go without an extra application.

Right, but then it asks me for a Yahoo location code. What I'm looking for is something that automagically updates my displayed weather, based on current GPS position. So I don't have to enter a new location every time I land in a new city.

Sorry, misunderstood your request. I have a similar situation (travel) and use an application called My Weather. It is separate from WeatherIcon, but it does have a feature where the top weather location will be derived from your GPS position, with your selected locations below that. It's a bit pricey, but it's a great application for traveling weather.

That's really cool. I wasn't aware that any apps had been created like that. I'm going to check it out too. Glad OP started this thread.

Well, I've tried My Weather... It's a great app, but there's no LockInfo plugin for My Weather. So that means still no local weather on my lockscreen, etc. The search continues...
