Localhost Lag/DNS Lookup

Ever since I upgraded to Lion, my localhost has a 5 to 10 second delay on any pageload that involves a server call. Is anybody else experiencing this? I've read some things about Lion looking at DNS before etc/hosts files... I've also read about the hosts file needing each occurrance of an IP to have its own line... but nothing seems to be fixing this. When I watch a page load in Firebug 90% of the time DNS lookup takes 5 seconds. Sometimes it has a 5 second delay for "Waiting." It's driving me nuts. Any suggestions?

This issue is driving me crazy, I have to wait for like 4 - 5 seconds every time before a page from localhost loads, even if its an empty HTML file, it's so annoying to develop like this

BUMP! I'm having this same issue, also happend on latest Snow Leopard 10.6.8 before I upgraded to Lion.
