Ever since I upgraded to Lion, my localhost has a 5 to 10 second delay on any pageload that involves a server call. Is anybody else experiencing this? I've read some things about Lion looking at DNS before etc/hosts files... I've also read about the hosts file needing each occurrance of an IP to have its own line... but nothing seems to be fixing this. When I watch a page load in Firebug 90% of the time DNS lookup takes 5 seconds. Sometimes it has a 5 second delay for "Waiting." It's driving me nuts. Any suggestions?

+1!
This issue is driving me crazy, I have to wait for like 4 - 5 seconds every time before a page from localhost loads, even if its an empty HTML file, it's so annoying to develop like this :(

BUMP! I'm having this same issue, also happend on latest Snow Leopard 10.6.8 before I upgraded to Lion.
