location for weather not updated in notifications

Hi,

I'm on a macbook air 2012 with Yosemite.

When i check notifications, the location for weather is not updated automatically.
i have to turn location services off and on again to see the location changing immediately.
Maps is showing the curent location without any issue wherever i'm, so i do not know why it would be different for weather.

Anything i should check/change?
