On my iPhone X (256GB, AT&T), it displays the small arrow icon used for active Location Services next to the time, on the right side of the notch. I have not seen this on any of the photos I’ve seen of the iPhone X. When I view the control panel, it also appears there next to other service icons like the battery percent, BT, and orientation lock. When I turn off location service to my apps, it remains, but if I turn off all the system resources that use my location, like Find My iPhone, it will go away. I don’t have a problem with my location being tracked since I have gone though the apps and system rescources that do so, but I would like the icon next to the time to go away. Does anyone have this icon show up on their new X?

Interesting...I have not seen this. Are you on IOS 11.1?

Yes I am on iOS 11.1. Sorry, I should have put that in my original post.

I just tested to make sure and mine will show if I am actively using it (ie Siri for directions) but otherwise is not present for things running in background. I am also on iOS 11.1. Did you try a reset (stupid question likely as most try this first!)
