Hi,
I use my Find My Friends to track a friend of mine. It works fine all the time. But one day, they're traveling aboard. I still trace them when they're at the airport (I wasn't tracing them when they left). Till the next day, they were at another country, but the app says "Location Not Available". I know they have internet connection. But that message is still there. They don't know I'm tracing them. But why does that happen? I know I'm a bad person for doing this but..

Thanks :)

Stalking is not good.

The location services icon comes on every time you request their location through Find my Friends. There's a chance your friend saw the icon and checked to see what app was using their location. If Find my Friends was using it then they very well may know you're stalking them. They probably hid their location from followers or simply deleted you from the app.

Also if the other person does not launch the app in over a certain number of days, you lose the ability to follow them. I'm not sure the number of days, 30-60. Once the app is launched on their phone, the counter resets and you can continue stalking them....
