With the old iphone OS, if we left location services on but didn't actively use it, the gps radio killed battery life very quickly.
In the new iphone OS 4, if we leave location services on, and designate it to certain apps like google maps, and if we don't actively use google maps, will the gps radio stay on and drain the battery, or does it shut off when not in use?
