I'm on a jailbroken/unlocked 3GS on TMobile, using 5.0.1 and the 5.16.00 baseband.

Before iOS 5, I seemed to be able to use the generic location services for google maps and other services like Yelp just fine. Now, when I'm using it, particularly if I look up directions, the phone totally freaks out and I lose ALL networking temporarily. This includes voice, edge data, and wifi. I have tried changing cellular data from epic to voicestream and it makes no difference. Any ideas?

To clarify - my gps has never worked, I've been able to use whatever location services that didn't use gps in the past, but no longer without losing all signals momentarily.

Sorry, I misremembered the number. It is the iPad BB, 6.15.00, which is why I don't have gps.
