Location services icon always on

Hi all, I was wondering whether it's normal having the location services icon always on when I have set up a watch face with weather complication.

This little arrow icon is present on both, iphone and apple watch. I can only get rid of it when I select a watch face with no weather complication.

That's obvious but why it keeps on even I'm most of the time in the same location. My point is that it seems is always searching or refreshing despite being in the same location for let's say a couple of days.

It's been this way since iOS 13 and Watch OS6. If you have a watch face that displays weather of any kind then you will have the hollow location services arrow on the phone and the watch.

A hollow arrow indicates that an item may receive your location under certain conditions.
