I use an iPhone 4S ugraded to iOS6. Did location services get removed or movedto a different spot in the settings app? I can't find it anywhere.

Thanks!

Thank you. I guess I didn't look hard enough :D

I wonder.....if I turn off all location sevices except for maps if that will help save on battery. Any thoughts?

Most likely. The more your phone is working, the more battery its using

But, just because they are turned on doesn't mean it always accessing something.
Only items with a gray or purple arrow have been accessed recently or within the last 24 hours.

Look at the ones with the grey arrow next to them. These are what drain your battery be it the cloud based traffic mapping to the location based iAds. These do not show the GPS icon unless you tell them to so you never realise there firing up the GPS chip.

Any recommendations? I basically turned off all except maps.

Turned off:

Camera
Facebook
Fandango
iMovie
Safari
Siri
Weather
Genius for Apps
Location-Based iAds
Setting Time Zone
Traffic
