Location sharing

On an iPhone or iPad with iOS 17 if you try and send a photo from your library in iMessage it gives you options to share location, or not! With Mac Sonoma I can see no option to toggle this, with it saying location will be shared as the only option. Am I missing a trick somewhere?

EDIT: Found the setting after posting... it is stupidly in the Photos settings under 'general' rather than within iMessage
