On my iPhone, MacBook Pro, etc, all the apps (Maps, Find My and so on), all get my location correct. However, when I recently reinstalled Firefox om my iPhone, it flagged a new connection from somewhere in London (100 miles away). It also happened in other situations - Amazon (used via Safari on my MacBook) flagged a location in a similar area (about a mile from the first). My Fing desktop app also thinks I'm in London (but about 15 miles from the other two).

The same happens when I get flagged for 2FA - the sign in is from London.

I assume it's to do with my IP address - when I check it with, eg, SpeedGuide IP Locator, it puts it somewhere in that area. I also assume this must happen to most people but I haven't seen any reference to it.

I suppose there's nothing I can do about it, unless my ISP can update the IP address settings?
