Hello, I cannot find that information anywhere

On the iPhone when I long press on a part of the screen it will lock the exposure and focus. The problem is that if I want to shot myself from distance, I no longer have the ability to press the screen for that and usually the focus and the exposure are going to undesired places.

I saw that the Apple Watch had few controls for the camera, but does it have the ability to lock AE/AF like on the iPhone ?

If so it would be a valuable purchase for me.

Thank you for your help !

It does. Tap on the screen of the watch and a little yellow box will appear. This locks the focus and exposure.
I'm using an Apple Watch Ultra 1 and an iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Thank you for your answer, this locks it for the current scenario or locks it indefinitely ? I am particularly interested to lock it indefinitely, like the long press on iPhone

I see what you mean. No it does not.

Just the phone, I exposure lock on a bright item (TV) and move the phone so it sees a darker area (shadowed bookcase) and it stays dark for the bookcase.

Using the watch to tap the screen, it sets the exposure for the TV but when I move the phone back to the bookcase it resets the exposure.

I did try to long tap the watch and it didn't do anything.

So in short, no, I don't think so. It's just a momentary setting, not a perpetual setting.
