Lock button problem

I just updated my I5 to 6.0.2. Now when I lock and unlock my phone, there is a delay with the lock. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? I've never had this problem until after I updated the iOS OTA. Sometimes it takes a few pushes to unlock/lock the phone. This is very annoying. :mad:
 
I've always found the lock and unlock response woeful. Has been the same on any iPhone and iOS I've had to date. Sometimes press it 2 or 3 times and screen doesn't light up, so I press the home button and end up taking a screen shot.
