I have a 13" MacBook Pro (2015) and am running Sierra 10.12.6. I want to know if there is a way I can lock a folder and prevent all access to it; i.e. prevent anything from being added to it.

This is because I am getting Adobe messages about non genuine software. I read online that I need to delete the AdobeGCClient in the MacOS folder. I can locate the folder and do this. However, opening an Adobe app regenerates the AdobeGCClient and the warning messages start again.

So, I am wondering if I could delete it out of the folder and then put a total lock down on it so that nothing can be added (at least not without my authorisation).

Is this possible and, if so, how do I do it?

Thanks.
