Lock i movie files

hi, i just created a slide show/ movie in Imovie. I want to be able to "lock" it so i don't accidentally delete it, or mess it up. in Finder, i clicked on the file, then get info, and checked "lock" my problem is that when I go into i movie, I can still change stuff? am i doing something wrong?

please help

Hi!

You did everything correctly (with setting the file to Locked). You can still change stuff in iMovie, but when you try to save it, you'll get an error, that the file is locked. Bingo!
