Hi

I have setup loads of Macs on our Active Directory network and I have discovered that System Preference panes such as Mouse and Keyboard settings are not locked!

This means a user can log in, change these settings and then another user can log in after them and its changed for them as well, which could cause havoc.

So is there any way in which I can lock down these specific panes? Or is there another solution? Thanks.

I don't know of a way to lock those. "Require password to unlock each System Preferences pane" doesn't affect those panes.

Only way I can think of would be to enable Parental Controls and block access to System Preferences entirely. Might cause other issues, though, so I'd test it on one computer first if you decide to do that.
