After upgrading to iOS 16, I had to create a new Lock Screen in order to change the font I use for the clock (if anyone knows how to edit the original one, let me know but I couldn't find a way to). With the new Lock Screen I also changed the Home Screen wallpaper to another picture.

I notice throughout the day that totally at random moments, my Home Screen wallpaper will revert to the one associated with the first Lock Screen. It just happened before posting this thread when I went into the App Store to update my apps. I swiped up to go back to the Home Screen and I literally watched the wallpaper switch from the new lock screen's to the old lock screen's.

Has this been happening to anyone else/know how to stop this odd behavior?

Yes, this has happened to me. What’s also driving me nuts is that I always have to change back to the Lock Screen I had before a focus was triggered as iOS then changes back either to a random or the first Lock Screen—but not the one that was on before the focus was triggered. No changes to that weird behaviour in 16.1. I hope this gets addressed in an update soon and I’m surprised that there aren’t more complains about this already..
