Lock screen bug (cant unlock)

This has happened 3 times now since updating to iOS 7.1. I am on a 4S

Basically when I try to unlock my phone, when I type in the 4 digit passcode, the numbers wont type out. Then ill give it a minute and it goes to the lock screen, and I cant swipe the slide to unlock button. It just moves a centermeter and that is it. its not frozen since I can still triple click to get to that screen, and I can swipe up to get to the settings screen.

Has anyone else see this

I've had this happen a few times before, can't quite recall if it was just in 7.0.x or some 7.1 betas. Couldn't quite figure out what would cause it exactly or what could easily get it out of that state aside from just restarting the phone.

Yeah the only problem for me is, my 4s lock button is broken. So i have to do the triple tap home button and shut the phone down. Then wait until I can plug my phone into an outlet to reboot it.

It wouldn't be a big deal if I could easily just reboot the phone.
