iPhone 14 Pro Lock Screen bugs/issues

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 16.2

Is anyone else having issues when trying to customize your lock screen? My phone/lock screen is displaying bizarre, buggy, uncooperative behavior, where it won't let me change the lock screen to what I want, and it just gives me a black background or some random color I never chose.

The problem seems to go away after I restart my device, but this has happened several times already.

Seems like an iOS 16.2 bug (?)

This is my experience too. If I select a new image for my background, the preview screen is black. But if I go ahead and set it, the image becomes the background correctly. Hopefully, this little bug will be addressed in future updates.
