Lock screen camera bounces when swiped up.

iPhone 6 Plus/iOS8.3

Camera in lock screen just bounces halfway and doesn't open when swiped up. If i unlock iPhone then lock again and then try-it works for awhile...any clue?

If you put your finger on it and slide it all the way up to the top, does it still go back down? If I try to flick it up with my thumb it doesn't work most times. You need to get it past a certain point before it will go up and open the camera.

Yes it gets stuck halfway and bounces. I can't slide it slowly as gets stuck halfway and falls again.
Seems to happen more when screen has been locked for awhile.

Missed a great shot of a UFO because of this

But seriously, it's annoying.

That is strange. Have you tried rebooting the phone? Stupid question I know, but I've had orientation issues where rebooting helped.

I have the same problem since day one with my iPhone 6 Plus.

Do you happen to have a screen protector on? It seems like certain screen protectors can have an adverse effect on the touch screen.

I have tried rebooting (but not a new install) to the poster above.

No screen protector on. It used to happen a lot when I first got my 6 plus. Then it stopped, but came back with 8.3.

Doesn't seem to affect a lot of people.
