So, I'm using this image as my lock screen wallpaper (iPhone 5s, 7.1.1)

I know that the lock screen clock color changes according to the shade of the image directly behind the clock. I've already tested this out with other wallpapers; with light gray or light blue shades, the clock color DOES change to black. But, even though the shade in my image is pure white, the clock color doesn't change to black:

Anyone know how I can fix this to get the text to be black?

I guess the algorithm still thinks that it's 'dark enough' for the text to be white.

The algorithm works on an entire image at once, not just parts of the image. So if the majority of the image is sufficiently dark, it'll completely ignore the fact that the top half is all white. It's kind of dumb but that's the way it is.

Suggestion: maybe zoom a little bit more into the white part to make the colour average of the entire screen brighter?
