Lock screen issue?

I noticed my iphone 12 pro lock screen does this when i see notifications. Not sure if its software or hardware. Updated to latest ios and started noticing it recently after ios 17.screen brightness is at half. I thought my screen was going :confused: but the device is functioning well otherwise.
