I keep seeing people's lock screens with widgets for weather yet I don't have such an option on my iPhone 11. Am I missing something?

That's very weird. I've had it on my phone since the very first iOS 16 Beta, it was quite literally a day 1 feature.

I do know that the weather lock screen widget needs constant location access (for obvious reasons). The only reason I can think that you aren't seeing it is because your Weather app is totally restricted from using you location unless you open the app.

I had an issue with a widget not appearing, I uninstalled and reinstalled the offending app (Carrot Weather) and then it showed up.

Well that's embarrassing, turns out the weather app wasn't even on my phone!:rolleyes::p

That said, it says location services are off but they're definitely on and I can't see weather in the list off apps.
