Hello,
First post so please forgive any mistakes I make!

I am after a lockable browser for the iPad. The reason is, I have developed a web application which allows users at a show / expo / inside a shop to type in certain details such as First name, Address, etc.

My client now wishes for this 'capture page' to run on an iPad (and Android devices, in fact). But because this web application is being run in a public environment, I need to reduce the amount of damage a user can do to the iPad software so I want to lock them into the browser.

I want to remove all back/forward/url address buttons and menus normally associated with Safari and run full screen. I understand there's probably not a lot I can do about the physical HOME button but even there I might be able to cover it with some material.

Does anyone know if there is a browser or application that is already suited for a public environment and will display a web page in full screen, perhaps even locking the screen with a password?

I hope that makes sense and I'd really appreciate any help.

Thanks,
MountainGoat
