Since Lockdown Mode now disallows physical connections without authentication, how does it work with headless desktop Macs?
Is there a config.plist somewhere that allows this? It's pretty annoying when using a clamshell MBP on Sequoia.
Apple support is pretty useless with these niche features so I'm wondering if anyone happens to know. I understand the reason for the lockdown mode restriction on connections but for displays specifically, and especially Apple displays, it seems like you should be able to permanently allow it so you can then authorize other devices etc.
Since there's a very configurable chip inside the display it would make sense to limit the USB hub until you authenticate but not the display itself because you have to authenticate to unlock regardless.
I know it's a corner case but I'm interested if anyone has experience with it.
