Locked Folders

For some reason I can delete the contents in locked folders and not the folder. I have unlocked it by going to 'Get Info' and hitting the small lock and typing in my password. I then also uncheck the lock button towards the top of the 'Get Info' box.

EDIT: lol, I needed to unlocked the main folder.
