Locked items on desktop

Hi, well I plugged my PSP into my Macbook and was trying to backup everything on my PSP before I reformatted it, so I was dragging everything onto the desktop and one of the items I dragged was a "locked item". Now when I try to drag it off of the desktop into the trash, it says i cannot move it because it is locked. Does anyone know a way to get rid of the the "locked item"?

It's under Get Info > General. There is a "Locked" checkbox.
