So 2 days ago I woke up from my iPhone being put into lost mode. Trying to figure out what was going on I read the email that my iMac has been remotely locked. Long story short, my apple ID was taken ahold of by unauthorized users.
They then proceeded to try and get me to pay them $50 in bitcoins before releasing the code.
Is there any way I can unlock the mac without having the code?
I have taken control of the account again and 2 factor has been switched on.
