So last night I had an interesting incident with my iPhone running 11.0.3. I could not unlock my phone with thumb. Ok fine, let's try another finger, and another, and another, and another. None of them worked. Maybe it was because I washed my hands--that has never been a problem for me before, but maybe right? Not the case. The phone wouldn't accept the touch control to enter a passcode. I had to restart it and then it worked as expected. Anyone experience this before?
As an interesting side note, the face of my watch changed to a completely different face. I use a Color variant as my face of choice. When I went to look at my watch, I had a motion face on it. I'll note that this is with Watch OS 4.
How I wish Apple would ship new iPhones with the previous iOS version instead of the latest and greatest. This would give people an option. I've mentioned this in other threads here, but I really don't like upgrading iOS until at least a .1 release or later. I'm not an early adopter as you might gather from my comments, I just want the technology to work.
