Hey,

So I have an iPhone 4 that is currently without a Sim Card and cant be used. Is it possible to buy a sim card for the phone and slide it in to have it start working again?

Is it a US iphone? Why cant it be used? Does it display the connect to itunes screen?

There is no sim card in the phone now, it says enter a sim card with the pin lock code.

It is a US Iphone

It probably just needs an AT&T sim to activate but are you going to use it as a phone on another unsupported carrier?
If its on 4.1 or 4.2.1 firmware it cannot be unlocked right now.

What did you do with the sim card??

There was no sim in the phone.

Im just curious as if I sell the phone someone can just buy a sim card and then the phone will work fine
