LockInfo 3.0 Public Beta Released

For those of you who love David Ashman's LockInfo, he just released the public beta of version 3.0. He says that it's only been tested in iOS 4, so keep that in mind. To get the new version, open Cydia, click on Manage, Sources, and then add the following repo:

apt.dba-technologies.com/beta/
 
Just updated the LockInfo and Weather and now my iPhone is frozen on the enter the Passcode screen!! :mad: It keeps crashing the springboard.

Help?!?!

EDIT: Just uninstalled LockInfo in safe mode and trying to fix it.
 
I can't seem to get rid of the headers for my empty mail and favourites sections...
 
I added the source, went through the install but still have 2.x loaded.
Weird.

I only have his david.ashman.com/beta repo and its showing there's a 3.0.0.17 update. I'm assuming I don't have to add the new repo?

Will probably hold off for now though, looks like he's getting bombarded on twitter with questions and bugs with the new version.
 
Works well for me, looks a lot more clean too. Thanks David for the great app!


EDIT: He just announced on his twitter: "I think the crashes some people are seeing with the beta are related to the new Favorites plugin. Try turning it off if you are crashing."

I'm not using the Favorites plugin and haven't had any problems

Same thing here. I am uninstalling LockInfo and Weathericon as I type... Hopefully that will sort out the problem...

EDIT: Only uninstalled LockInfo and everything seems to be working again. I will reinstall again once the bugs are worked out.

EDIT2: Just installed 2.3.12.3 and that version is still working fine.

Deleted the old version and installed the beta. All is good. Nice update.
 
I'm using the beta and tapping on one of the favorites to send an sms is opening the stock sms app instead of bitesms. Not sure if it's a bug or not but I sent David a message on twitter.

Negative. Still crashing my springboard and frozen at "Enter Passcode" screen. Then continues to Safe Mode. :mad:

I will wait until bugs are fixed. It appears many others are facing the same dilemma.
 
Installed the update today and had no problems at all, other than I needed to adjust a couple of the new settings to my liking. Really like the cleaner look, especially with the SMS notifications.

Nice work David!

On 3.0.0.18 now.
 
I am running 2.3.12.3 again and will wait until all the code gets resolved before upgrading again. David is always very responsive and I am sure a new version will be released soon.
