I downloaded lockinfo last week and my battery has gone to hell. How can I turn it off? I went into settings and I see where I can disable all the plugins, but I still get the shaded screen that drops down but there was nothing in it.

I would like to turn it off all the way so that I can save my battery. how can I accomplish this?

why don't you just go to cydia and remove it completely

if it's of any use to you, i don't notice any battery drainage at all using lockinfo...

You should check each plugin in your lockinfo settings if you are seeing decreased battery life to make sure you are not getting updates too frequently. My battery life was poor at first using lockinfo then I changed each setting. I have the weather now set to update every 2 hours instead of 15 minutes where it was set at first and that makes a lot more sense. Check your mail plugin too and all the others to make sure they update less frequently.
That's true if you are not using it you may as well uninstall it through Cydia.

Where do you change the frequency?

settings > lockinfo > plugins > lock weather > refresh every
settings > lockinfo > plugins > RSS > refresh interval

If you are using the HTC plugin check that too (weather settings).

Is there anyway to turn the infoshade off? I don't use it and just find it plain annoying when I accidentally open it up.

Been using Lockinfo/InfoShade for a while and my battery have never been affected

Same here w/ me -- never noticed any difference at all.

Yes, just go into the settings and remove it's activation method:

Settings --> Lockinfo --> Infoshade --> Activation: uncheck whatever method is selected.
