This is a strange issue I've been running into on my 3GS. 5.0.1 untethered jb. Old bootrom.
When the homescreen is enabled and the weather plugin is on there, every time I unlock the iPhone the location service arrow is on! Seems I'm seeing quite the battery drain with it too. I've tried turning locations off and resetting it, and airplane mode. I've gone through and turned off 99% of programs and the only one that seemed to work was the weather one BUT then it kept messing up my location(to a previous known location I'd been to).
On my iphone 4, I have the weather plugin on my lockscreen and I never have the location services arrow go on.
Does this madness happen to anyone else? I've seemed to fix it by disabling the homescreen. We will see with time.
