Lockinfo SMS delay / momentary freezing on incoming txt?

running latest lockinfo with statusbar alerts

I love lockfino since its been updated with the latest statusbar alerts.

however, since i installed it i get odd behavior with my stock messages app.

if im writing a text to someone, typing, and the phone is receiving a text, the phone will seem to freeze, just for a second, as the incoming message comes in, then everything is normal. it ONLY happens when im in the messages app, and typing away at the instant i get the incoming message. Evey thing else is totally normal.

anyone else get this?

same issue. just thought it was the normal behavior for the messaging app. no bitesms installed, just lockinfo and quickreply. had the issue with my 3gs on 3.x as well.

I'd say the answer for all of us would be to try disabling quick reply first. If that doesn't change anything then disable Lock Info SMS plugin. If that doesn't work then disable BiteSMS and use the stock messaging app.

I'm guessing that will help isolate the issue a bit.

Yep that did it! Once the LockInfo SMS plugin was selected off the delay issue went away completely. Bummer

New lockinfo beta (2.3.7.12) with vastly improved SMS handling. Need testers on 3.x and iOS4. Especially heavy SMS users.
