iPod Locking custom playlists?

I recently accidently deleted a playlist on my iTunes (pressed backspace when I thought a song was highlighted, but the playlist was highlighted), and it has taken me ages to re-make the playlist and get all the right songs back on it.
I was wondering if there is anyway of locking a playlist so that I can't accidently delete it, or at least some sort of warning asking if I'm sure I want to delete it.
