is there a way to lock the screen on a imac? i would like to lock it on websites that my 2 year old uses nick jr or abc mouse. ive seen them locked in the apple stores. she is using a imac g5 with 10.5.8. thanks in advance
 
ok i dont see the padlock anywhere. i would like to make it so my little one can only use the nick jr or abc website with out her clicking on everything in the dock or desktop...if u have been in the apple stores they have a section for kids and you cant do anything accept play the game thats on the screen..i want to do that to mine.

Launch the Keychain Access app in your /Applications/Utilities folder, then go to Preferences > General > Show Status in Menu Bar (check). However, that will enable you to lock your computer, but not the way you're talking about. With your computer locked, nothing could be seen or clicked until you enter your password to unlock it.
