Locking Secondary Screen in Spaces.

I'm running a dual screen setup (laptop screen and secondary display). I work with spaces a lot, and one of the things that bugs me is that the Spaces for one monitor are linked to the other. For example. I want to have my chat on my laptop screen stay static as I move through Spaces on my second monitor. Is there anyway to "unlink" the two screen's Spaces

You can lock specific programs to all spaces. I use my laptop screen for my e-mail, and other programs distributed through 6 spaces. No matter what space I am in, entourage is always displayed on my laptop's screen.

In the Spaces systems preference. Go to the + in applications and assignments. Add what apps you need and select "every space"
