how do you lock your iphone?
Do u press the lock button? Or do u just let the phone sit untouched?

First, set a password lock in the lock settings and then set a duration for it to lock.

If you mean the screen just goes black, but it doesn't ask for a password to make it 'awake' you can either press the button for quicker locking, or you can just let it sit idle

if you mean when the screen goes black, it asks for password: Go to Settings>General>Passcode Lock and set that up.

LOL, sry I wasn't so clear. I meant how do YOU let the phone go into lock status where u can't use the touch screen. :)

if I'm putting it down on a table, I will just let it sit. If I'm putting it into my pocket, I press the button.

Most pointless question ever?

if the question was so pointless, what does that make the answer u just replied.

Nobody asked u to express ur useless opinion also... Take a hike if u don't like my topic.

I hit the lock button when I finish an activity, as I want to extend battery life to the maximum.

To save annoying myself, i have the "require passcode" set to "after 15 minutes"
