While i understand that apple wants to point out the new lockscreen as a striking feature i dont get how they deceided to put notifications at the bottom. i just dont look there for something. it looks as akward as the new safari adress bar at the bottom. but yeah for sure it would make sense when apple will release a new larger size so you can reach everything.

Well…there’s that (reachability) and I also think they may be setting up the screen for possible always on display options when iPhone 14 is announced in a few months.
