So LockTight if you don't know is a preference pane dealy that hangs out and lets you pick your own combo of keys to instantly lock up your MBP (or anything else) and go to the screensaver.

Very convenient if you need to step away really quick.

So I have the keys {Command+Shift+W} to lock (see pic)

What happens though is aided by pic two, the lock pops up, screen goes black, but then instantly back to the desktop. The security timeout is after 5 seconds so it doesn't lock.

Works all the time one hour, and not at all the next.

I have a Razer Death Adder 3500 DPI mouse, but it doesn't move on the screen....like it doesn't appear to be moving.
sooooooo??? what you guys think

PS here is the link if you want to try it out yourselves..

Maybe don't make it public for the world to see, that you torrent CS5 and SC.

What happens, if you disconnect the mouse and use that key combo?

If it is in the phase of working, it still works, and if it's not, it still won't.

Look in System Preferences under the General tab in Security. If you have "Require password after sleep or screen saver begins" set to anything other than immediately then LockTight will not work.

Thanks that helped :)
I had to set to 5 seconds.

It doesn't work for me either. I don't know why, and I don't have time to figure it out.

Those are just disk images. I use alternative means of downloading all the time. For example, for CS5, when I got the image off via an alternative means it took about 5 minutes; directly from Adobe it would have taken me at least an hour (so I did try for about 10 minutes before I gave up).
