This app has been in the Cydia store for a while now.

It does it when it's in "wiggle mode". You tap the little icon making it lock.


For example here I have the Photo and Messages App locked.

nice..I can lock my apps I use for work and not have to worry about the kids messing them up. does anyone know if an app is locked does it make it so it can't be deleted without unlocking first?

I am always afraid of the kids deleting my todo app when it isn't synced recently.

Just search for locktopus in cydia is what i did. Once you buy it, change your password and then you select which apps to lock using it by just holding down on an app until it "wiggles" then the lock icon will be in the lower left hand corner.

when you try to unlock an app, it prompts you to enter the password before it'll unlock it. Can't find a way to clear all locked apps yet.
