I'm using a cool little program called Microsnitch, which warns you when your mac's mic or camera is on (possibly without you otherwise knowing about it). This is the same company that makes the cool mac firewall called "Little Snitch".
----
What's happening is that every time I wake the mac up, the Microsnitch log is gone. If I tell Microsnitch to not to log and then say, yes, to log, (basically, just toggle logging) then the log file gets recreated. Or, if I turn off the mac and turn it back on, that is OK too. Log file remains.
I've worked with the Microsnitch company, but this is a really strange problem and they can't reproduce it.
I also have Hazel running, but no rules exist for this folder.
-----
Therefore, I'm wondering if there is some way program/utility, whatever, to figure out what program/process is deleting the log files.
Would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks,
- m
