Since Apple prompted me to reset my iCloud password few days ago, I cannot log back in on one computer

I had to reset it on all my devices. Everything is working except my Macbook Pro (Mojave) that doesn't allow me to log in in System prefs into iCloud : no messages, no email, no FaceTime, anything related to iCloud is logged in

After I enter both apple id and password the wheel spins for ages and I don't get anywhere

I also have an iMac (HighSierra)and there it's fine.

I called Apple and I was suggested to change password again and sign out from all my devices when prompted, what I stupidly did.
That didn't bring me anywhere than having to sign back in for ages and result:

my Macbook Pro still doesn't like it. I even tried to disconnect it from AppleId page where all my devices are and if I try to sign in I get the two factor authentication on all other devices, I enter the 6 digits # but then I cannot go anywhere

I tried to reset PRAM and SMC because I'm sure somewhere there is a crazy file that doesn't want to change.
Any help will be highly appreciated!
